Happy 26th Birthday to Me!

A year older and hopefully a year wiser.
And Happy 33rd Birthday to my brother which is today.

Updates,Updates!!

It's been time that i've last update my blog..been busy with work,handling
the lil gerl and catching on my sleep over the weekends.
Today's already the 19th days of Ramadhan and i've not yet make my trip to
Geylang. Preparations for this year Raya is mainly for Andriana. We only
had a pair of baju kurung this year and our colour theme is black/white.
Still searching for Andriana shoes and some dresses..and that will be it.
The loss of Ayah is still new for us so we will be celebrating Raya
moderately. Later we will be having our iftar at Newton with Effa and the
twins.and hopefully i get to make my virgin trip to Geylang after that.

Life is short

If you are being hurt be it from your friends or your family, what would
you do? For me many things happen both sad and happy events over the
years. At times, i asked myself whether to hate or forgive them? The
answer is simple...forgive them BUT i'll never forget what they have
done. They critise,humiliate among themselves but at the end of the day
they went licking each other back.. What do they gain from all these?
With my eyes and ears open wide I’ll just see and listen what they got
to do and say…for now I’ll try to refrain myself from saying anything.
Allah is fair...what goes around sure do come around. With the rezeki
that Allah has given me, I’m contented.
I’ll always remember what my late dad used to say,’’ Kalau kita dah
senang jangan lupa diri, ingat Allah boleh kasi dan ambik rezeki yang
dia kasi bila-bila masa je.’’ We don’t really know what Allah had stored
for us in the future so for now both me and Hubby got to work hard to
give the best for our family. Life is indeed short before it ends lets
make better used of it.

Backdated,outdated

I've not been updating this blog of mine for quite sometime. Not in mood i
could say. Well, many things happened over the past weeks. My maid is back
in S'pore, brought the lil one for the Barney's concert, my niece were
hospitalised,went for a short trip to Batam so many events and i just can't
find time to drop an entry. Now i found the loss time and this entry is
just so outdated. After so many years i've celebrated father's day,this is
my very 1st time celebrating it without Ayah. Soon it'll be 3 mths since
he's gone but the presence of him is still there. It really take times for
me to adapt to this new life. I really miss him, badly. I'll weep silently
at nite whenever i think of him. He will be remembered forever. As for
Hubby, he's been understanding enough. He's my pillars of strength,
shoulders for me to cry on. I'm sorry if this year we didn't actually
celebrated father's day. For me, everyday is father's day. No words could
describe how much i love him. I'm praying to Allah to grant us another
child. Andriana will be 3 next year so it's about time for her to have sibling.

*Abi,u are simply the best. We love u each and everyday. Stay the way u are now cuz we love u for who u are.

Maid-Less
It's has been almost a week that my maid went back to her kampung...during
her absence me and hubby take turns to do the housework. It's fun though
when we get to do things together. Mak will be at my sis place for the week
cuz she's not feeling well so the lil one will be sent there every morning.
My maid really play her part eversince Ayah's gone. She's became Mak
sleeping partner and Mak best friend. At times i'm thankful to have a
reliable maid, she has been a great help eversince. Because of that i
extended her contract for another 2 yrs hopefully she'll be more
responsible and will not cause me any troubles. She's lucky to have us as
her emplyoer i could say cuz we don't treat her like a maid. She's already
part of us...BUT there's line drawn to it. When we sent her off at the
airport,i had tears in my eyes when she hugs and kisses Mak and Nana.

p/s: 7th jun please come quick cuz Bibik CT will come back to Spore on tat
day... and it's time for Barney concert.

Weekend in Malacca

Last weekend we drove up to Malacca to sent my Mak for her eyes treatment.
First time we brought my MIL along for the trip. Alhaamdulilah both my mums
can get along like very good friends. On Sat, after checking in the hotel
we straight away sent both mums and my aunt to the clinic. Not only that
both me and Hubby also join in the queue to get ourselves check...FIL came
to join us after his business trip frm Penang.That nite we had ikan bakar
at Umbai..thanks to mak kam & wak bo for the treat. Sunday we went to
Malacca market cuz the mums and aunt wanted to get the belacan, kerepeks
and stuffs. After that, we cool ourselves with the all time
favourite,Cendol. MIL wanted to see our kampung so we drove down to Alai
and Mak became our tourguide telling us all the places in Malacca. Our
kampung house where i used to spent my childhood running around with my
cousins, where i learnt to cycle and many more. The house is left emptied
eversince my aunt & uncle past away and all the children moved to K.L.
After the visit to kampung, we had kampung dishes for lunch and drove back
to J.B hang around at my in laws place before we headed back to S'pore
since it was heavy traffic. Today we having tahlil for my late Ayah fourty
days..and tomorrow my maid will be going back after 2 years contract and
she'll be back to S'pore after 2 weeks break before her new contract start.

Belated Mother's Day

I know it's kinda late but it's better than nothing.We had chalet on Sat so me and my siblings gathered and had bbq thru thenite. Mak's best friend came together with her family so that nite we had anice long chat and turn in to bed nearly 1am. The kids had fun swimming andplaying around especially my lil girl until she's down with running noseand slight cough. We tried making Mak's mind occupied cuz we know thatshe's missing Ayah a lot. On Sun, we had dinner at Sofra's with my Hubbyside. With all the siblings and kids around, the restaurant almost turninto a playground :) Nothing much on Mother's day i could say, but it's thecompany of the loved ones and time spent with them would be the mostperfect gift. Pictures will upload once i received them.
